GoWireless Return Policy
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
You may terminate service for any reason within 14 days of activation. If you purchased a mobile phone and/or broadband device from GoWireless at a promotional price, you must return the mobile phone and/or broadband device to avoid being assessed a $100 early termination fee payable to GoWireless. You will be responsible for all applicable Verizon Wireless usage fees, access charges, taxes, surcharges or other charges that accrued to your account through the termination date. If you paid a security deposit, it may take between 30 and 60 days to process the return of your security deposit. The charges for any service used on the account before the service termination date may be applied against your security deposit. All security deposits will be returned by Verizon Wireless.
You may return any or all of your merchandise, excluding all Apple products, for any reason within 14 days of purchase*. The original customer receipt must accompany all returns. If you cancel your service prior to the expiration of your minimum term, you will be responsible for an early termination fee payable to Verizon Wireless. If you return your merchandise more than 14 days after your purchase, you will not receive a refund. Returning your merchandise does not automatically terminate your service with Verizon Wireless. In order to cancel your service, you MUST contact Verizon Wireless customer service at the phone number on your contract. For information regarding your commitment with Verizon Wireless, please refer to your Verizon Wireless Customer Agreement Form.
MOBILE PHONE AND BROADBAND DEVICE RETURNS/EXCHANGES
*GoWireless will only accept mobile phones and/or broadband devices in like new condition. Mobile phones and/or broadband devices must be deactivated with Verizon Wireless prior to being returned and must be in the original, unaltered packaging, with all accessories, manuals, etc. The serial number of the phone and/or broadband device sold must match the box or it will not be accepted. If your phone and/or broadband device purchase included a mail in rebate, you must wait the full 14 day period before cutting off the UPC label and submitting the rebate. Mobile phones and/or broadband devices with the UPC label removed will not be eligible for return. At our sole discretion, we may decline your return or charge a fee for items that we determine are damaged or require service. You may exchange your mobile phone and/or broadband device one time within the 14 day period. Mobile phones and/or broadband devices that are outside of the 14 day return period may not be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. The 14 day return period begins on the original purchase date. GoWireless will accept “same model” defective phone exchanges up to 14 days from purchase.
If you return and we accept your merchandise within the 14 day return period, we will refund the purchase price back to the original payment method. Cash refunds over $100 will be refunded in the form of a check mailed within 12 business days of the return transaction. If you received your merchandise through a "Buy One, Get One Free" or similar offer, both items must be returned in order to receive a refund. For exchanges involving the same merchandise, only the item to be exchanged needs to be included. Opened software purchases may only be exchanged for the exact same item and may not be refunded. Before returning any product that has data stored in memory, please transfer all files you wish to retain to another file source. Once the product is returned, your files cannot be recovered. If returning a broadband device sold along with a Netbook PC, both the broadband device and Netbook PC must be returned. No refunds will be accepted for a broadband device only if the device was sold with a Netbook PC.
ACCESSORY RETURNS/EXCHANGES
*GoWireless will exchange or refund most accessories within 30 days of purchase. Accessories must be in the original, unaltered packaging, with all components, manuals, etc. All earpiece, headset, battery, memory card and screen protector purchases are final and are not eligible for exchange or refund unless defective, in which case, the defective product will be exchanged for the same or similar product at GoWireless sole discretion. Cash refunds over $100 will be refunded in the form of a check mailed within 12 business days of the return transaction.
APPLE RETURNS/EXCHANGES
GoWireless will accept any unopened Apple iPad™ up to 14 days from date of purchase. GoWireless will not accept any opened Apple merchandise inclusive of the iPhone and iPad, regardless of condition. In the event you believe this product is non-functioning after purchase, contact AppleCare at 800.275.2273. Existing NON-APPLE products previously purchased from GoWireless cannot be exchanged for Apple products under any circumstance.
NETBOOK PC AND TABLET RETURNS/EXCHANGES
*GoWireless will exchange or refund Netbook PC’s and Tablets (excluding the Apple iPad™) within 14 days of purchase. Netbook PC’s and Tablets must be in the original, unaltered packaging, with all accessories, manuals, etc. Cash refunds over $100 will be refunded in the form of a check mailed within 12 business days of the return transaction.
PREPAID RETURNS
If you do not agree to the terms of the prepaid wireless service agreement, do not use the pin to initialize service or scratch the coating off the back of the card. If you activated service without a card, do not initialize service by making a call. Return the card and/or any mobile phone you received with this agreement to the place of purchase within 14 days with the original sales receipt. No refunds will be granted after 14 days or if the card has been used, if the coating has been scratched off, or the account has been initialized. Cash refunds over $100 will be refunded in the form of a check mailed within 12 business days of the return transaction.
RESTOCKING FEE
A restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price may be charged on all accessory returns and $25.00 for voice-centric devices, $50.00 for data-centric devices or $75.00 for tablets may be charged on returns of these products except where prohibited by law.
GIFT CARDS/STORE CREDIT
A Gift Card may only be used for making purchases at GoWireless stores and cannot be redeemed for cash. A store credit may only be used for making purchases at GoWireless stores and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred.
GOWIRELESS PRICING POLICY
All phone and/or broadband device prices displayed are based on a 2-year service agreement with the rate plans specified. All phones and/or broadband devices may be purchase un-activated for MSRP. GoWireless will match any local, non-internet price for a device activated on a 2-year service agreement within 30 days of purchase with proof of lower price.
MOBILE PHONE AGREEMENT
Customer understands and agrees that in order to obtain a discounted price on a mobile phone the customer must maintain service with Verizon Wireless including all required service additions to the advertised promotion for a period of no less than 180 days. Customer further understands that, if for any reason, service is discontinued within the 180 day timeframe the customer must immediately return the mobile phone to the GoWireless location where it was originally purchased or shall be liable to GoWireless in the amount of $100 for each mobile phone activated and subsequently discontinued on the customer’s account. Customer understands that these fees are separate and distinct from any fees that Verizon Wireless may impose upon early termination of service. Customer further understands that in the event it is necessary to institute legal proceedings to collect any amount due hereunder, GoWireless shall be entitled to recover all costs incurred through judicial proceedings, including reasonable attorney fees.
